Agentic Development Environment

Your next development environment.

Comparing Cursor, Devin, Orca or Superset to build software with AI? Evaluate Singularity too: a code editor, terminal, Git and a task board that orchestrates your agents in one desktop environment.

From ticket to verified code: describe a feature, bug or refactor. Agents work in isolated worktrees; you inspect changes and approve their integration. DevOps tools extend this workflow with pipeline monitoring.

01 · The problem

Chat is a black hole.

You know the loop: prompt, correction, re-prompt, hallucination. Context fills up, the agent drifts, and your time gets pulled beyond the event horizon.

Singularity replaces the endless conversation with a finite unit of work: the ticket. One scope. One context. One agent. One result.

02 · The principle

An orchestrator,
not a chat.

A master AI splits, delegates, and supervises. Each sub-agent receives an atomic ticket, the minimum context it needs — and nothing else.

03 · The system

Everything agents need to work — not to chat.

Atomic tickets

One unit of work, a clean scope, one branch. The agent only sees what it needs.

01

Context injection

Relevant skills load automatically. Minimal, focused, never saturated.

02

Native notifications

macOS tells you when an agent finishes — or fails. No terminal babysitting.

03

Built-in Git

Branches, graph, stash, hooks, review. Merging is a gesture, not a ceremony.

04

Multi-project

Dozens of repositories orchestrated in parallel, with no context leaking between projects.

What exactly is Singularity?+

Singularity is an Agentic Development Environment (ADE) for building software with AI agents. It combines a code editor, terminal, Git and ticket-based orchestration to build features, fix bugs and refactor multiple projects in parallel.

Is Singularity only for DevOps or SRE teams?+

No. Singularity is for developers and teams building and maintaining software: web and desktop apps, APIs, tests and refactoring. Pipeline monitoring and DevOps tools complement this general-purpose development environment.

How does Singularity prevent AI hallucinations?+

Every ticket starts with a minimal, clean context: only relevant skills, conventions and files are injected. We drastically reduce the context size: less context, less drift.

Is Singularity an alternative to Cursor, Devin, Orca or Superset?+

Yes. Singularity is an alternative to evaluate for AI software development alongside Cursor, Devin, Orca and Superset. Its workflow centers on atomic tickets, parallel agents and isolated Git worktrees, with change review before integration. Compare the tools on your projects and preferred way of working.

Which AI models does Singularity support?+

Singularity supports Claude (Anthropic), Codex (OpenAI), GitHub Copilot and Gemini (Google) right now. More providers will land throughout the beta.

How much does Singularity cost?+

Singularity is a free application for orchestrating development agents. The free plan includes unlimited agents, projects and worktrees, language servers and the Notes plugin. No subscription or credit card is required to use these features. Singularity Licence is the subscription that unlocks paid Marketplace plugins, at €24 per month per workstation. During beta, it provides access to the Pipelines plugin for CI/CD in the app. Future paid plugins are included at no extra charge. Cancel at any time. The Notes plugin remains included in the free plan; the subscription does not change Singularity’s core features.

Is my code and data kept private?+

Yes. Singularity is privacy-first and built to be self-hosted: your code, tickets and contexts stay on your machine. Only LLM API calls leave the machine, using your own key.

Which operating systems does Singularity run on?+

Singularity is currently available in beta on macOS. Windows and Linux are next: it will ship on all 3 OSes before public release.
